Make A Change

Every year Fort St John hosts performers from BC and Alberta at the Peace River North Festival of the Arts. Over 600 young performers participate in dance, voice, piano, choir, strings, band and instruments, guitar and speech arts over an 9 day period. This brings many new faces to our city and supports local hotels, restaurants and other businesses during the festival. The festival concludes with a ”Best of the Fest” Honours Concert with the top performers presenting a final gala performance at the Cultural Centre the last evening of the Festival. Festival participants can also qualify to represent their disciplines at the Provincial Festival of Performing Arts.

We are currently looking for sponsorships for the festival and hope that you are willing to assist us in showcasing the Performing Arts to Fort St John.
Sponsorship can be in any amount, including the following categories:

• Festival Sponsor

  $1000 to go towards operating expenses and the costs associated with bringing professional adjudicators to Fort St. John.

• Day Sponsor

  $500 to assist in the rental of the Cultural Centre for one day of the festival.

• Scholarships
  $200 for major end of festival awards
  $100 and $50 for the winner and runner-up of various categories through the festival. It is our goal to offer $8,000 in scholarships to our young performers throughout the festival.

All sponsors are recognized throughout the festival by Master of Ceremonies, on the festival program and with signage at the festival venue. Sponsors will also be acknowledged on the Festival and Arts Council websites. All assistance is greatly appreciated.
